The KX-155A was designed to peacefully co-exist with GPS, but it is 28V only. SL30 is highly regarded, and would be my choice. I'm sure the GNC255 would be just as great.

Question: Sometimes the traffic triangle symbol shows up with an small asterisk next to it. What does this mean? could not the definition of the asterisk reading the both the G500 & GDL-88 manual.

WEBFeb 18, 2020 · The 650 takes a data card, or BT updates via the garmin pilot app. The 255A only accepts USB flash drives. The GI 275 takes BT or USB flash drive. With this being the case, it seems that there is no common method to update my equipment. I do not have the garmin pilot app, or the FS510 but I can get it if needed.

The GTN will anúnciate this, but it is usually outside of the field of view required. Adding an annunciator/switch is probably more expensive than you want to mess with.
