I've read posts that indicate 48' wide is OK for 4 stacks wide when going in from the end, but what about post spacing when backing in from the side?. WEBNov 21, 2009 — On the newer NH machines, there is a gage bolt that limits the travel of the trip arm, but the principle is the same. You will find the bale length will change as the hay becomes dryer. If you change the pressure on the bales to make the bales heavier or lighter the bale length will change again.

When I first start baling for the day it seems to work great but after a couple bales the bale command will start counting almost as soon as the tail gate shuts.

We use that link so we can go right to a 36 inch wide square bale. 2 work fine for the round bales but if we do a three-by-three wet that was cut in a roto cutter baler we need three 36-inch Spears.
