Blackstone Energy Transition Partners ( BX, Financials) announced its agreement to acquire the Potomac Energy Center, a 774-megawatt natural gas power plant in Loudoun County, Virginia, as part of its strategy to enhance infrastructure for data centers and artificial intelligence.
