On the day he sent his head coach packing, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson took the unusual step of making a public plea to holdout Haason Reddick to join the team. Johnson, who addressed the Robert Saleh firing Tuesday on a conference call with reporters,

Then, at the end of the call, he was asked about Reddick, the Pro Bowl edge rusher who continues to hold out after the Jets traded for him this past offseason. And it was at this point that Johnson offered his most interesting comments of the call, while speaking directly (sort of) to Reddick.
