Update: Laguna Fire spreads to 93.5 acres in Ventura County, remains 70% contained

As of Thursday evening, the fire crew succeeded in containing 70% of the wildfire. However, investigations into the cause are ongoing.
Evacuations Downgraded as Ventura Firefighters Stop Progress of Laguna Fire
Update by the edhat staff As of 11:30 a.m. Thursday, the forward progress of the Lguna Fire has been halted at approximately 50 acres, according to the Ventura County Fire Department. All evacuation orders have been downgraded to warnings.
Firefighters were able to stop the progress of the blaze, which had prompted the evacuation of a nearby college campus.
