Coco Gauff overpowered Karolina Muchova in straight sets to win the China Open on Sunday for her second title of the year and eighth overall.

Coco Gauff won her second title this season with a lopsided 6-1, 6-3 victory over Karolina Muchova in the final of the China Open on Sunday. The sixth-ranked Gauff, 20, became the youngest China Open champion in 14 years.

In the past two years against one another, Gauff has two wins and Muchova has zero. In their last match, on September 7, 2023, Gauff won 6-4, 7-5.
