The New York man accused of killing three of his family members last month has been returned to Vermont to face a judge. Brian Crossman Jr. was extradited to Vermont on Wednesday and is currently in the custody of the Vermont Department of Corrections.

A judge has ordered a New York man charged with killing his father, stepmother and stepbrother in Vermont held without bail.

He is charged with three counts of aggravated murder in the shooting deaths of Pawlet Selectboard member Brian Crossman Sr., Erica Pawlusiak Crossman and 13-year-old Colin Taft, whose bodies were found in their home September 15.

The Washington County man accused of killing his father, stepmother and stepbrother will continue to be held without bail after pleading not guilty.  Brian Crossman Jr. 22, of Granville, appeared virtually in Vermont Superior Court in Rutland on Thursday.

Brian Crossman Jr., of Granville, New York, waived having an extradition hearing and will be moved to Vermont to face charges.

Pawlet triple homicide suspect Brian Crossman Jr., of Granville, New York, was extradited to Vermont on Wednesday. The 22-year-old was extradited on a warrant that charged him with three counts of aggravated murder following the deaths of his family members.
