It has been more than six decades since legendary civil rights activist and revolutionary Malcolm X was assassinated and now his family is suing the NYPD.

The family of Malcolm X filed a $100 million lawsuit Friday that accuses multiple federal and state law enforcement agencies of playing a role in the murder of the human rights leader nearly 60 years ago.

Malcolm X's family accuses the NYPD and federal agencies of "facilitating" the civil rights leader's 1965 assassination in a new lawsuit.
