Interstate 10 has reopened after it was closed for several hours Saturday morning following a deadly crash south of Queen Creek Road.
A stretch of westbound Interstate 10 was closed for hours in west Phoenix after a deadly shooting Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Erian Sandoval, 26, was shot at and then crashed his vehicle into the freeway median and died on the scene, police said. It's unclear if he was shot.

A fatal road-rage shooting ended with a man calling 911 on himself in Arizona, police said. The incident happened just after 8 a.m. Jan. 15 on Interstate 10, the Phoenix Police Department said in a news release. Two men got into a “confrontation” while driving on the freeway, police said.
“While you are allowed to use deadly physical force to defend yourself against deadly physical force, what you aren’t allowed to do is recklessly or negligently injure or endanger other drivers on the road,” Marcantel said. Police said no one else was injured in this incident.
