For the better part of the past two decades, we’ve been treated to some epic and heartpounding Super Bowl matchups.

ESPN committed a brutal whiff during their halftime show for Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Sunday between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.

At halftime the Pacers led 48–47 and there was a lot for the NBA on ESPN crew working the game on ABC to talk about. So much so that Stephen A. Smith just kept talking as they went to commercial.
