Intensifying its drive against illegal immigrants in the national Capital following Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena’s orders, the Delhi Police has deported 17 Bangladeshi nationals who were residing in the south and southwest districts of the national capital.

In a major crackdown against illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, the Delhi Police detained and deported seven Bangladeshi nationals, including five women, from the South District area in the national capital.

The team of police officials arrested the seven Bangladeshi nationals near the Arjangarh Metro Station in Fatehpur Beri area.

In response to growing concerns over illegal migrants including Bangladeshi nationals in the capital, Delhi Police have ramped up efforts to identify and deport individuals residing without valid documents.

Delhi Police have intensified efforts to address concerns over undocumented migrants following a December 10 order from the L-G secretariat.
