Bronny James remains a divisive figure in the NBA. Despite finishing his first season at USC with an average 4.8 points, 2.8 total rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 0.8 steals per game across 25 games, Bronny James was selected with the 55th overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft.

The South Bay Lakers play 24 home games this season, with their next scheduled for Sunday against the Stockton Kings.

The 20-year-old Bronny, who is on a two-way contract with the Lakers, badly needs the developmental time in the G League. He averaged 0.7 points per game on 16.7 percent shooting over six garbage-time appearances for the Lakers before getting assigned to the South Bay Lakers earlier this month.
