The Ohio State Buckeyes won the College Football Playoff national championship game with a victory over Notre Dame on Monday, January 20. Since then, the celebrations have continued for Ohio State, although several players left for the NFL draft and via the transfer portal.

Ohio State is fresh off its first national title in a decade. Head coach Ryan Day got off the hot seat and led the Buckeyes to four straight wins in the College Football Playoff, including a National Championship Game win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Oh, the bilious anger with which Ohio State football fans chanted their coach’s name after a 13-10 upset loss to mega-rival Michigan at Ohio Stadium to end the regular season. Only they didn’t chant “fire” at all, but rather a different four-letter F-word.

On Tuesday, Day's appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was shared during which Day was put on the spot about Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James ' famous social media question about college eligibility rules and potentially playing football for the Buckeyes.

LeBron James agreed with head coach Ryan Day that he wouldn't get any special treatment if he joined the Buckeyes.

Ryan Day checked off the big box of winning a National Championship earlier this month and became just the third active college football coach to do so. Day’s sixth season in Columbus is the one where it all came together and the Ohio State Buckeyes went on a magical run to win the College Football Playoff.
