Search efforts enter their third week to find a Belfast man who is currently missing in Spain. John Hardy, also known as John George, was last in touch with his family on 14 December, when he drove from Alicante to Benidorm. Mr Hardy's father Billy George, who has travelled to Spain, has said he believes his son is dead.

In an emotional video posted on Facebook on New Year's Day, John's father, Billy, said: "Please just give me my son. That's all I want, just my son."

A NORTHERN Ireland search and rescue team has kicked off a search for a missing Belfast father who is believed to have been shot dead in Spain before Christmas. John George, also known as John
