On the eve of what is shaping up to be a close and historic presidential election regardless of the outcome, First Lady Jill Biden told a small but energetic and vocal crowd in Durham that “this is it” and urged supporters who had not yet voted to mark ballots Tuesday for Vice President Kamala Harris

The focus is on North Carolina as Former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, and Vice-President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, are both in the state on Saturday.

First Lady Jill Biden made several campaign stops in North Carolina just one day before Election Day.She campaigned for Harris-Walz at a canvass launch stop in Winston-Salem on Monday with Democratic voters and volunteers.

On Friday, Barack Obama will hold a rally in Charlotte. According to the Harris campaign, Obama will be encouraging early voting. There are also expected to be guests alongside Obama. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden will also be in North Carolina campaigning for Harris. She is set to speak in both Cary and Fayetteville.

First Lady Jill Biden and Gov. Roy Cooper, meanwhile, are joining phone banking and canvassing efforts being organized by the Harris campaign in several cities. In the evening, the Harris campaign planned to hold a rally with local leaders in Raleigh that is expected to include performances by James Taylor,
