North Carolina is having a much stronger season than its record suggests, and the Tar Heels should flaunt their class vs. a weak Notre Dame squad, per our college basketball betting picks.

On Sunday afternoon, the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel south to Chapel Hill, NC to face the No. 17 North Carolina Tar Heels. It’s the first game for either side in a week, giving the time for both sides to rest and relax over the final week of the 2024 calendar.

UNC has won two of the three games in the series, including a 90-74 win at the Smith Center in 1987.  Coming off a one-point win at Notre Dame, the Tar Heels will try to hand the Mustangs their second straight loss to a squad from Tobacco Road.
